In the UK, we have over 70,000 households watching Channel S and within this, average Bengali household has around 4.8 people, as stated by the Government Statistics Office.

Channel S is the only Bengali language channel in the UK and Europe, where there is something for everyone, young and old, men and women. Programmes are produced not only in Bengali but also in English and Sylheti to cater for the unique needs of the British Bangladeshis. Our audience includes 15% between ages 5-15, 28% between ages 16-24, 39% between ages 25-44, 10% between ages 45-64 and 8% above age of 65 years.
