London Tigers, Winners of Best Community Organisation Award 2010

"Channel S’ yearly Award Ceremony is a great inspirational event of the year for our community in the UK and in Europe. Achieving an award is always emotional and inspirational.  When I was announced as a pioneer Bangladeshi woman, I was very moved and thrilled."

Rehana Khanam Rahman, Winner of Achievement in Education - Graduate Award 2010

"Channel S is very successful in highlighting the importance, significance and honour of the voluntary engagement. I fully recognise and honour the value of the services of Channel S to Bangladeshi Community in UK and in Europe and I fully support them."

Makhlisur Rahman JP, Winner of Contrinution to the Community - North Award 2010

"I am very much touched by the award which recognises my work over the last 30 years. I am proud of the achievements in Walsall and this award, if for everyone - not just myself."

Gulam Mustafa Choudhury, Winner of Contribution to the Community - Midlands Award 2010

I will always remember year 2010 when I received Channel S Awards for contribution to the Community in South England. This was my second attempt. I was short listed first time in 2008.

Congratulation to Channel S. You are number one and pray for even brighter future. This is definitely the event this year.

Syed Aminul Haque, Contribution to the Community Awards 2010

Contribution to the Community (South) 2008, it was wonderful to receive this Oscar. I know how the dedicated Judges and team work to reward the nominated individuals. Long life Channel S. Your work for the Community is appreciated by the Bangladeshis.

Abdul Wahab MBE, Contribution to the Community Awards 2010

It was a wonderful experience when I received this prestigious award. No doubt many other individual and companies will be encouraged to invest in Bangladesh. My heart felt best wishes to the Channel S team. You are doing wonderful work for the betterment of the Community.

Abdur Rouf JP, Best Investor in Bangladesh 2009

I hope others will share my sentiments that the Channel S Award is not merely about celebrating an individual’s achievements, but is a microcosm of success in the Bangladeshi community. In the two years between receiving my GCSE and A-level awards, I was amazed to see how much more we have collectively achieved; it was truly an honour for me to have been a part of this. Looking ahead, the awards will catalyse the realisation of new ambitions and redefine our goalposts – for the winners, the nominees and the wider community alike.
